The Lions Prostate Cancer Research and Treatment & Support Project supports the development of medical services for research and treatment of Prostate Cancer, funded by the generous donations of local Lions Clubs. The main beneficiary of the project is the Mater Prostate Cancer Research (Mater Foundation) that is working to develop immunotherapy treatment of patients with prostate cancer. Lions Clubs of Australia have donated more than $1.2 million to Mater Research over the last 12 years.
