Lions Awareness Day
Glenside Lions are holding a Lions Awareness Day event at our Lions Bookmart on Saturday 6 March from 10am to 3pm. Everyone is invited to join us to celebrate our connection with our community. Our members will be there to meet and speak to members of our community. At this event we will provide information on Glenside Lions and the service we provide to our community. We will also have information on Lions Australia and Lions International and the work we do at national and international levels. There will be free sausage sizzle and iced bottled water. We hope you can join us.

Glenside Lions 40th Anniversary
Our Club was chartered back in 1980 and this year we celebrate our 40th Anniversary in March. The venue is the Wine Centre on Hackney Road. The date is Saturday 28 March.
Lions Awareness Day
Everyone in our community are invited to our Lions Awareness Day on Saturday 2 March from 10am to 2pm. There is a free sausage sizzle in front of our Bookmart. Please come and learn more about our service to our community. Glenside Lions are very much involved in our community through support of charities and many community projects in youth, eye health, medical research, disaster relief, environment and literacy.
Glenside Lions Art Show Preview
Glenside Lions are having their Art Show Preview at Burnside Village from Thursday September 27 to Saturday September 29. This Art Show Preview features selected paintings from the Art Show. Raffle tickets are sold for the prizes of paintings. Please come in and take a look.

Art Show Raffle Tickets at Burnside Village
Glenside Lions are selling Art Show raffle tickets at Burnside Village on Thursday and Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm each day. There are excellent prizes to be won for $2 tickets. Please come in and support us.

Men’s Shed
The City of Burnside is hosting an Information Day on social inclusion and gardening projects at 6 Conyngham St on Saturday 30 June from 11am to 2pm. Glenside Lions Club is involved in funding of the Men’s Shed and will host a free sausage sizzle. The Men’s Shed is a major project for Glenside Lions and the expected completion date is December 2019. #WeServe
Information on Men’s Shed, Biodiversity Conservation Nursery and a Community Garden to be built at this location. Glenside Lions Club is involved in funding the Men’s Shed and will be hosting a free sausage sizzle. Glenside Lions Club has naming rights on the Men’s Shed. Please come and learn about these projects.
