Since 2000, the Lions Medical Research Foundation (South Australia) has funded twelve post graduate PhD scholarships at a cost of close to $500,000 researching a wide range of health related areas. This has allowed the development of strong ongoing relationships with Medical Schools of both Adelaide University and Flinders University. Glenside Lions support this foundation regularly and have just donated another $1000 in May.
